Mark days as available, restricted, or unavailable so rota planning respects each person.
Set weekly staff availability
Availability tells managers and Auto-schedule when a team member can work.
Availability states
- Available means the person can be scheduled at any time that day.
- Restricted means they can only work inside a saved start and finish window.
- Unavailable blocks the rota cell and prevents shift creation for that day.
Edit a weekly pattern
Open Availability, find the team member, and select Edit availability. Set each day, save any restricted time windows, then confirm the weekly pattern.
Approved leave and existing published shifts remain separate from the recurring availability pattern.
